One game to finish off the weekend tonight. Its on in Star Poker Bray.
Its the same tournament as a Friday Night "the double chance tournament. Be knocked out or go bust before the end of the break and you can rebuy again for €25 (20 plus 5 reg). Starts at 8.00pm and you can register up to 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 mins and a 10k starting stack. Refreshments served throughout and hot food served at the break.
Cash Tables available when enough players are around to start. blinds are 25/50c, 10% rake once a flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. I think the minimum you can buy onto cash for is €25 and the Maximum is €200

Friday night PKR
Okay folks, poker tonight as follows:
Doyles Rathnew, starts at 8.00pm. Usually gets around 2 tables. €20 buy in and a starting stack of 2.5k and a 20 min clock. You can rebuy/topup 3 times and if your gone before the break you can buy a deadstack and the 3 topups for €50. All money taken in on the night goes back out in the prizefund.
The Kennedy inn, Newtown. Starts at 8.00pm, again this game gets 2 tables. €20 buy in with a rebuy/topup of €20. Starting stack of 10k, 20 min blinds. This as i have pointed out before is a good game. Theres no messing and the play is usually quite strong. If your a beginner this is not the place to learn your game!! again everything paid in goes out in prize money. (I was asked to rebuff my comment that if your a beginner this is not the place to play, and ill stand by it, however its like everywhere else, your always welcome to play, whether new or beginner, I just feel the players here to be to strong for someone starting off)
Star Poker Bray, have their €25 (20 plus 5 reg) double chance tournie. Bust or be knocked out before the end of the first break at 9.30pm and you can rebuy for a further €25. Starts at 8.00pm and you can let reg up to 9.30pm. Starting stack of 10k, 15 min blinds and usually 30 plus runners. refreshments available throughout and hot food served at the break.
Cash tables run until late and usually have 2 going. 25/50c blinds. 3% rake once a flop is seen, capped at €3 per pot.
Wherever you go, best of luck at the tables. Might see you there.

Thursday Night Poker
Star Poker Bray, have the €30 (20 plus 5 reg & 5 scalp) scalp tournament tonight. Kicking off at 8.00pm, you can late register up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Knock out any player and receive the €5 scalp. Starting stack of 10k and a 15 minute clock. Refreshments available throughout and hot food served at the break. Usually get 30 plus for this game. Think the fun is getting the scalps here rather than winning the tournament as play can usually get wild!!!
Cash table available usually after 10 and fill up quickly. 25/50c blinds, 10% rake once the flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot.
Finally, A Game in the Coach House Roundwood. Kicks off at 8.00pm, Buy in is €35 (20 buy in, 10 top up and 5 reg). If you dont take the top-up its €25. I think the starting stacks are 5k and the top is the same. Blinds are 15/20 mins whenever the clock is checked!! Hot food served on the break and usually get 2-3 tables. Its a good game, good atmosphere and some good players. Not just for locals, some weeks this place has had 30 plus runners.
Best of luck at the tables.

Wednesday Poker
Okay, we are at the hump of the week and 2 tournaments to report tonight.
Kicking us off is Star Poker Bray and their €20 (15 plus 5 reg)Freezeout tournament. Kicking off at 8.00pm, you can late reg up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 minutes and you have a 10k starting stack. Refreshments available throughout and sambos served at the break (30 minute break from 9-9.30pm). Probably the busiest night in Star Poker is the Wednesday game and usually always hits 60 runners sometimes a lot more.
Cash Games Available around 10 o'clock and the tables fill up very quickly. blinds 25/50c, rake is 3% once a flop is seen and capped at €3.
There is another game in Sally O'Briens in Arklow. I have been in contact with the guy that runs it and he will send me on details and the structure etc. Once he does I will update here straight away. As far as I know its a league basis, with all new players welcome and could be a €50 freezeout or €30 plus 2 x €10 rebuys. Again once I have all the details I will update straight away.
Good luck at the tables.

Monday Night in The Old Ship
Small report of last night's tournament and some photos attached too.
€35 Scalp Freezeout
Was a quiet night with only 12 runners, few of the regulars being away on hols, should be higher numbers again in the coming weeks..
When we got to 3 handed it went on for nearly 2 hours, with Reimo Reinpalu only having half a big blind but was able to get 5/6 double ups to prolong 3 handed but he was eventually eliminated in 3rd for €40 and 2 scalps adding €10 to his prize money.. After Reimo was eliminated, the remaining 2 players chopped the prize taking €110 each. Dariusz Denisiuk was declared the winner after a chip count and he received 20 league points to move from 10th in the league up to 4th, becoming this weeks highest mover. He also collected 4 scalps.. James Doyle was 2nd collecting €110 and a further €15 for his 3 scalps. Other scalp winners were: Egidijus Pukinskas (2 scalps) and Patrick Gray (1 scalp).
