Newtown Friday Night Results
Fourteen players took part in the Friday night game in MKI. Steve Rees and Robert Nolan chopped top 2 prizes and got €185 each. Third was Craig Quinn on €70, and fourth was Conor Byrne on €40. Best hand of the night was Steves quad Kings, so he gets a free buy in next week.

Consistently getting 2 tables now. Best hand of the night also gets free entry for the following week. Seems to consistently have 2 tables here.

Old Forge Wicklow Tuesday Night Results
Congratulations to Paddy Clarke who took down last nights game in the Old Forge Wicklow. Paddy beat the league leader Dan Bury heads up to take the win and more importantly for him the 20 points. Dan with his 2nd place finish also extends his league to over 40 points at the top! John Sinnott finished 3rd.
Best hand of the night? Dan Bury's Royal Flush wwhen Niall Callery also hit a flush. The amazing thing is both stacks ended up all in on the river, a dream scenario holding a royal flush!

2 games tonight folks and 1st up its week 18 of the new Tuesday Night Old Forge Poker League.
Tonight the buy in is €40 (35 plus 5 reg),freezeout, €15k starting stack, with a 1k early bird and 1k bonus chip for texting your entry to 0868446556. Registration is from 7.45, the game starts at 8 sharp. Blinds are 15 mins before and after the break with a 10 minute break after the 1st 6 levels. Hot food also served on the break (Pizza!)
Jim Connors won last week and won the extra 40 points for taking down 2 weeks in a row (60 points in 2 weeks for jim) and that puts him into 2nd spot in the league. Dan Bury currently leads the way. Cash game available afterwards, 50c/€1, minimum buy in €5, rake 10% capped at €3 max per pot.
And Finally,
Jacobs well Rathdrum, also have their usual game. Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 8.30 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!
Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins.
Pot Limit cash game also runs when enough players are knocked out of the game.
