Newtown friday Night Results
eventeen players took part in the Friday game at MKI giving a jackpot of €540. Fifth on €20 was Arnold. Fourth on €40 was Joey O'Brien. Third on €80 was Dougie. Kane O'Shea and Shane Farrell chopped the top two prizes and got €200 each. Best hand of the night was Kane O'Sheas quad 5's so he gets a free buy in next week.
Whistlers Thursday Night Results
Congratulations to Bren Kavanagh & Jason Cooper who took down Thursday's game in Whistlers Wicklow. Top spot paid €160 each and Brian Connolly was 3rd for €40. Best hand before the break was a house of kings full of aces for Bren Kavanagh.

The Kennedy inn, Newtown. Starts at 8.00pm, buy in is €20, with a €20 top up. early bird chip of 2k if your there before 8. Starting stack of 10k and a 20 min clock. The topup/rebuy is also for 10k. Consistently getting 2 tables now. Best hand of the night also gets free entry for the following week. Seems to consistently have 2 tables here.

Jacobs well Rathdrum have their usual game. Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 9.00 and can run for a while with a stack this big!! This game can get 2 tables. Also one point to note is, i have played this game and sometimes in different places, they have different rules and this is one such place. Nothing major, just in relation to raising/blinds etc! otherwise a good game with some very nice people.
Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins. Top up also allowed at the break.
