Newtown Friday Night Results
Fourteen players took part in the Friday night game at MKI, yielding a jackpot of €540. The top 3 prizes were chopped between Dominic Leech, Moira Gannon and Robert Nolan. Moira and Robert got €165 each, and Dominic,who was chip leader at the decision to chop,got €170. Fourth on €40 was David Brewster. On a night which saw Alan Grant getting a poker of 2's, Lee Lofts getting a poker of 3's, Dominic's poker of 7's was the best hand of the night, so he gets a free buy-in next week.

Congrats to Jim Connors, Dan Bury and Damien Syms who all chopped last nights game in the Old Forge Wicklow. The 3 lads agreed on a chop for €170 each, with Lloyd Scraggs taking €40 for 4th Spot.

Tonight the buy in is €40 (35 plus 5 reg),freezeout, €10k starting stack, with a 1k early bird and 1k bonus chip for texting your entry to 0868446556. Registration is from 7.45, the game starts at 8 sharp. Blinds are 15 mins with a 10 minute break after the 1st 6 levels. There is the option of 1 €10 top up at the break (5k in chips).
Cash game available afterwards, 50c/€1, minimum buy in €5, rake 10% capped at €3 max per pot.

Sunday Night Poker
The only game on Today is the Star Monthly Deepstack Game. Kicking off at the earlier time of 1pm, you can late reg up to 4.15. buy in is €75 (65 plus 10 reg). Starting stack of 20,000 and blinds 25 minutes up to the break and 30 minutes after. This game usually gets 50 plus players and generates a decent enough prizepool of approx €3/3500.
Cash games usually start after the break also.
