Old Ship Monday Night Results

Well done to Darek, who took down last nights game in The Old Ship Arklow. Darek beat Reimo Reinpalu into 2nd. Both players agreed on a chop but Darek had a substantial chip lead. John Molloy was 3rd. There was 11 Runners with the best hand as below.

Thanks to all who came, hopefully see a few more next week.

Tuesday Night Poker

The first game to report is in the Olde Forge Wicklow Town, being run by WicklowPkrScene/Chip & a Chair Poker Events. Week 11 of the league continues tonight.

Kicking off at 8pm, reg from 7.30pm, €30 freezeout (25 plus 5 reg) Starting stack of 9k, early bird chip of 1000 for anyone in their seat by 8 and an extra 500 if you confirm by text 0868446556.

Best hand before the break tonight gets 5k in chips.

Consistently hits the 20 mark, and some new faces every week. Niall O'Connor currently leads the way in the league. Paddy Clark won last weeks tournament with Ciaran Connolly coming 2nd.

Cash Game available afterwards,50c/€1 blinds, rake 10% once a flop is seen capped at €5 per pot.

Finally, the Tuesday game in Jacobs Well, Rathdrum.

Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 8.30 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins.

Pot Limit cash game also runs when enough players are knocked out of the game.

Monday Night Poker

One game to report tonight, and it happens in the Olde Ship, Arklow.

Buyin: €30 Freezeout (€25+5 reg)

9k starting stack

1k early bird

500 extra chips for confirming by text (0868446556)

20 min clock for first 6 levels, 15 min for the remaining levels (inc antes, that increase with every 2 levels)

Cash game runs also, 50c - €1 NLH with 10% rake once a flop is seen and capped at €5, min buyin to cash game is €25

Tournament players are also part of a league for 2 UKIPT Cork tickets worth €770 each that takes place in February 2013. Top 9 players at the end of the league qualify for the final table and top 2 of final table win a ticket each. Players chipstacks are calculated based on the amount of points they accumulate throughout the league and there are already over 50 players on the league table. €40 is taken from the pot each week to make the money for the 2 tickets.

I have updated league positions for this tournament and Reimo Reinpalu is leading with way. Craig Ledwith won last weeks game and is going for 3 in a row. Can he be stopped?

This is a good game and usually always gets 2 full tables. As in 1 of my previous posts, I have taken over Chip & a Chair and will continue running the game the same way Craig did. Hope to see you all later.

Star Poker Sunday Deepstack Results

Congratulations to Adrian Connick who won the €75 Sunday monthly Deepstack tournament. With 54 players top place paid €1,404 and the top 6 got paid. Adrian called an all-in shove pre-flop with A/7 against K/10 Clubs. The board ran out 4,7,4,J,7 to give him a full house and the tournament win

Dublin Poker Nights Clarion Deepstack Tournie


Just a quick note (as hes a Wicklow Player), congrats to Craig Ledwith who took down the above tournament yesterday at the Clarion Hotel Dublin. Also a special mention to Carl McBride, who final tabled and finished 6th I believe.

Star Poker Saturday Night Results

Congratulations to Rob Carr who won the Saturday €25 Re-entry tournament. He beat a field of 31 players to collect 1st prize of €279. On the final hand, Rob, with a big chip lead, called an all-in shove pre-flop with K/Q against 5/2. The board ran out 10,7,3,7,A with 4 Diamonds to give him a flush and the win. Poker Jackpot rolls-over to next Saturday.

Star Poker Deepstack Sunday


Dont forget folks, Today sees the return of the €75 (65 + 10reg) Monthly Deepstack in Star Poker Bray.

Kicking off at 2.30pm, Starting stack of 20k, blinds are 25 mins up to the break and 30 mins after. You can register up to the end of the break at 4.30pm.

The game usually gets big numbers and the prizepool last month was over €3000.

Refreshments served throughout and food served at the break.

Cash tables usually available afterwards.
