Old Forge Tuesday Night Results

Well done to Craig Flanagan who won last nights game in the Old Forge Wicklow. Craig and Paddy Clarke chopped the prize and played one hand to decide who won and took the points. Niall Higgins who always seems to get it in ahead was 3rd and Paddy Kavanagh 4th. There was 19 Runners and best hand before the break was Aces full of Jacks for Niall O'Connor.

Small Cash game got going with 5 or 6 players and played a round of hold'em and a round of Omaha.

Thanks to all who came. Hope to see you all next week as we are taking a 2 week break then for Christmas.

Wednesday Night Poker

Kicking us off is Star Poker Bray and their €20 (15 plus 5 reg)Freezeout tournament. Kicking off at 8.00pm, you can late reg up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 minutes and you have a 10k starting stack. Refreshments available throughout and sambos served at the break (30 minute break from 9-9.30pm). The busiest night in the Poker room nearly always gets 60/70 plus, some weeks it even breaks the 80 mark. Read my post regarding the poker jackpot as its coming to an end soon, so it may be worth your while giving the extra €5!! only 1 week left.

Cash Games Available around 10 o'clock and the tables fill up very quickly. blinds 25/50c, rake is 5% once a flop is seen and capped at €3. Usually fills the 2 tables.

There was a game in Sally O'Briens, Arklow, but this I believe is no more.

Good Luck at the tables!

Cash Game available afterwards,50c/€1 blinds, rake 10% once a flop is seen capped at €10 per pot.

Finally, the Tuesday game in Jacobs Well, Rathdrum.

Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 8.30 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins.

Pot Limit cash game also runs when enough players are knocked out of the game.

Good luck at the table Folks.

Star Poker Sunday Night Results

Congratulations to Neil Cahill and Joe O'Brien, who outlasted a field of 33 runners to split Sunday's €20 Freezeout.
Top 4 places were paid tonight with a top prize of €223.
There was no winner of tonight's jackpot so it will roll over to next week!

Star Poker Saturday Night Results

Congratulations to Colm Martin who won the Saturday €25 +1 Re-Entry Tournament. With a huge chip lead Colm called an all-in shove pre-flop, with 5/4 Diamonds against A/4 Spades. A board of 9/7/10/5/8 gave him the win.

Colm also wins our Saturday Jackpot of €300. That is the end of Saturday's Jackpot.
Well done Colm!!

Monday Night Poker

One game to report tonight, and it happens in the Olde Ship, Arklow.
Its run by Trevor Conyard from WicklowPKRscene/Chip & Chair Poker events.

Buyin: €30 Freezeout (€25+5 reg)

9k starting stack

1k early bird

500 extra chips for confirming by text (0868446556)

Best hand before the break, will win more chips.

Kyle Byrne took down last weeks game and will be going for 2 in a row and 40 points Tonight.

Cash game runs also, 50c - €1 NLH with 10% rake once a flop is seen and capped at €5, min buyin to cash game is €25

Tournament players are also part of a league for 2 UKIPT Cork tickets worth €770 each that takes place in February 2013. Top 9 players at the end of the league qualify for the final table and top 2 of final table win a ticket each. Players chipstacks are calculated based on the amount of points they accumulate throughout the league and there are already over 50 players on the league table. €40 is taken from the pot each week to make the money for the 2 tickets.

With over 50 players in the league, the action at the top is heating up. Larry, Reimo and Darek are nearly guaranteed a final spot already, as they have a monster lead, but the final 7 places are anybodys as its quite close!

This is a good game and usually always gets 2 full tables. As in 1 of my previous posts, I have taken over Chip & a Chair and will continue running the game the same way Craig did. Hope to see you all later.

Good Luck at the tables.
