Tournament players are also part of a league for 888 Deepstack Galway Tickets, for November. Top 9 players at the end of the league qualify for the final table and top 2/3 of final table win a ticket each. Players chipstacks are calculated based on the amount of points they accumulate throughout the league. €30 is taken from the pot each week to make the money for the tickets.

This is being run by Craig Ledwith from Chip & Chair Poker and Ive played the tournament he runs in Arklow and the structure is excellent. Last week there was 20 plus runners, and a few of the regulars still havnt showed up so this tournament is going to get bigger. Niall O'Connor has taken it down 2 weeks in a row, so he needs to be stopped this week!! Last week there was also another 5 new players so over 3 weeks, there are 30 names on the league already.

Finally, the Tuesday game in Jacobs Well, Rathdrum.

Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 8.30 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins

Im not making the above up!!!!!

Good luck at the table Folks.
