Thanks to Ritchie for the reports and pictures.

Last night in the Coach House, Roundwood, there was 2 tables and the Winner was Jimmy (no surname).

Jimmy seemed to make a few hero calls as seen here in the picture!! (not sure if it was hero or luck) runner runner straight and knock Nick out of the game!!

Below is a picture of a hand between Ricthie & Joey O'Brien. Joey pushedall in pre-flop with aces and Ritchie called with 2s. Blinds were 1500/300 at the time and Joey pushed for 20k, as Ritchie only had 2k behind. As you can see Ritchie got back into the game with duece on the river.

Finally Mark Dempsey acting the "Horse"

Once again thanks Ritchie for the report, hopefully more to come.

Thursday Night Poker

The usual 2 games tonight folks:

1st off, we start in the Coach House Roundwood.
Kicks off at 8.00pm, Buy in is €35 (20 buy in, 10 top up and 5 reg). If you dont take the top-up its €25. The starting stacks are 5k and the top is the same. Blinds are 15/20. Hot food served on the break. Not just for locals, some weeks this place has had 30 plus runners, but usually always has 2 tables. This can be a good game and good craic, if thats what you are looking for.

Star Poker Bray, have the €30 (20 plus 5 reg & 5 scalp) scalp tournament tonight. Kicking off at 8.00pm, you can late register up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Knock out any player and receive the €5 scalp. Starting stack of 10k and a 15 minute clock. Refreshments available throughout and hot food served at the break. Usually get 30 plus for this game. Not your usual holdem game as players some times make calls here, just to get the scalp!! Its a good game though.

Cash table available usually after 10 and fill up quickly. 25/50c blinds, 10% rake once the flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot.

Best of luck at the tables.

Kennedy Inn, Friday Night

There was only 11 runners friday night, as a few of the regulars couldnt make it. Beaudine Browne and Robert Nolan chopped the pot, With Geraldine Nolan 3rd and Dave the Bubble Boy (Again). I was knocked out in 7th and when I was leaving Dominic Leech had a superior chip lead, I didnt find out the details but it looks like he exploded or tried to bluff 1 to many times. Maybe next time Dom!!!

Geraldine, Clif.

Dave, Brian, Dominic, Robert.

Dave Raised to 5K, Dom pushed and Dave here with head in hands folds!

May be hard to believe, but Johnny Dunne is playing a hand here!!!!

The Olde Forge Report

Small Report from the game at the Old Forge last night. Craig couldnt make it, so Im not sure if I will get a full report as usual. Last night had 20 runners, and there are still people missing that would usually play here so I can only assume the numbers are going to get even bigger.

5 Places were paid.

1st €260 Niall O'Connor
2nd €160 Name Unknown (Split with Niall for €210 each)
3rd €100 Niall Callery
4th €70 Johnny Dunne
5th €50 Peter Doyle

Play was wild and the action was red hot on both tables as there was some very serious hands. On table 1, a newcomer (he was staying in the grand hotel and heard there was a game and came accoss) who was playing his 2nd hand woke up with aces. eventually there was a 3 way all in against Kings, and 7s where the aces held. Niall Higgins wasnt so fortunate as his aces were cracked on the river this time to Kings.

Ciaran Connolly a few hands in rivered quads for a big pot and seemed to be flopping sets every time he played. Just before the final table, Niall O'Connor hit a very good run of cards and nearly quadrupled his chips to set him up nicely for the final table.

On my table there were a few tight players and none as tight as Johnny Dunne!! I told Johnny last night I was putting a picture up on the Blog, to show everyone who he is....

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN JOHNNY DUNNE

All in All a very good game and as Ive said there should be higher numbers again next week.

Because the league is not going to run for as long, Craig has decided rather than UKIPT seats up for grabs he is going to send 3 people to the 888 poker deepstack in Galway in November. €30 is being taken from the pot each night and will be held behind until the final table, where the top 9 in the league will play off for the 3 tickets.

Wednesday Night Poker

Kicking us off is Star Poker Bray and their €20 (15 plus 5 reg)Freezeout tournament. Kicking off at 8.00pm, you can late reg up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 minutes and you have a 10k starting stack. Refreshments available throughout and sambos served at the break (30 minute break from 9-9.30pm). Probably the busiest night in Star Poker is the Wednesday game and usually always hits 60 runners sometimes a lot more. Last week I believe they had 74 runners.

Cash Games Available around 10 o'clock and the tables fill up very quickly. blinds 25/50c, rake is 3% once a flop is seen and capped at €3.

There is another game in Sally O'Briens in Arklow. The person that runs it was ever so friendly and still hasnt sent me details, so I dont know what goes on here, but there is a game.

Finally a new game to report. Whistlers Bar in Wicklow Town, have a €20, plus 2 €10 top ups tournament. Starting stack could be 5k, to be confirmed. Blinds are 15 Mins, and usually gets 10 plus players. This game used to be run by Ian McDonald of Donkey Poker Tour, but Ian has moved to pastures new and 2 Guys have taken up the reins. When there is enough players a cash game usually gets going here and can be very wild. Last week there was some very interesting and very big pots won, so beware.

Good luck at the tables.

Sunday Night Poker

Star Poker Bray is where the last action of the weekend is tonight.

Kicks off at 8.00pm and you can register up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Buy in is €20 (15 plus 5 reg). 10k starting stack and a 15 minute clock. Refreshments served throughout and sambos served on the break. As in my previous posts they are usually getting 30 plus numbers and I cant see tonight being any different.

Cash Tables available when enough players are around to start. blinds are 25/50c, 10% rake once a flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. I think the minimum you can buy onto cash for is €25 and the Maximum is €200.
