Saturday Night Poker

Only the 1 game around tonight;

Star Poker Bray is on tonight and its the same tournament as a Friday Night "the double chance tournament. Be knocked out or go bust before the end of the break and you can rebuy again for €25 (20 plus 5 reg). Starts at 8.00pm and you can register up to 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 mins and a 10k starting stack. Refreshments served throughout and hot food served at the break. probably get 30 plus again as its the only game on around Wicklow.

Cash Tables available when enough players are around to start. blinds are 25/50c, 10% rake once a flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. The minimum you can buy onto cash for is €25 and the Maximum has been increased to €500.

Newtown Friday Night Results

Due to the Ireland soccer match on Friday, there was a smaller than usual crowd at the Friday game in MKI. The jackpot of €200 was chopped between Robert Nolan and David Brewster. Moira Gannon had the best hand, a house of Aces full Jacks, so she gets a free buy in on her next visit.

Congratulations to Lorenzo Fusciardi and Daryl Brack for chopping Thursday's €35 Scalp Tournament. With 31 players top prize paid €310 and the top 3 were paid. Lorenzo and Daryl also cashed in for €160 in Scalps. Well done!

Friday Night Poker

Its Friday, thank god..........

Action as follows:

Doyles Rathnew, starts at 8.00pm. Seems to usually get 2 tables. €20 buy in and a starting stack of 2.5k and a 20 min clock. You can rebuy/topup 3 times and if your gone before the break you can buy a deadstack and the 3 topups for €50. All money taken in on the night goes back out in the prizefund.

The Kennedy inn, Newtown. Starts at 8.00pm, buy in is €20, with a €20 top up. early bird chip of 2k if your there before 8. Starting stack of 10k and a 20 min clock. The topup/rebuy is also for 10k. Consistently getting 2 tables now. Best hand of the night also gets free entry for the following week. Seems to consistently have 2 tables here.

Whistlers Thursday Night Results

Congratulations to Paddy Kavanagh who took down last nights game in Whistlers Wicklow. Paddy took €200 for his troubles, Tom cox was 2nd for €130, Stephen Tierney 3rd for €40.

Best hand of the night was a King high straight flush for Alice Murphy. 2 players were all in on the turn with the same straight with Alice rivering the Straight Flush.

Thursday Night Poker

1st off, we start in the Coach House Roundwood.
Kicks off at 8.00pm, Buy in is €35 (20 buy in, 10 top up and 5 reg). If you dont take the top-up its €25. The starting stacks are 5k and the top is the same. Blinds are 15/20. Hot food served on the break. Always has 2 tables. Friendly Game, new players welcome, Ritchie Cullen runs the game here. (Im not sure if this game has moved to the local hall, if anyone can confirm this, be much appreciated. I did hear it had been moved from the pub)

Star Poker Bray, have reverted to their usual game, the €35 (20 plus 5 reg & 10 scalp) scalp tournament. Starting at 8pm, you can late reg up the to the end of the break at 9.30pm. 10k starting stack, 15min blinds. Food served at the break, refreshments served throughout. (Last weeks winner cashed for another €110 in scalps!!)

Cash table available usually after 10 and fill up quickly. 25/50c blinds, 10% rake once the flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. tables usually fill up fairly fast.

Lynskeys Arklow, now have a game, Buy in is €35 (30 plus €5 reg) starting at 9pm. 15 min blinds, 15k starting stack. €5 reg gives you a free pint and pizza at the break. Not sure what numbers are like here, first few weeks had 2 tables.

Finally Whistlers Wicklow Town Starting at 8pm, all money taken in paid out on the night. €20 buy in with 2 €10 top ups/rebuys. 500 early bird chip if your in your seat by the start and 500 if you confirm by text.

Wednesday Night Poker

Only the 1 game tonight and its Star Poker Bray and their €20 (15 plus 5 reg)Freezeout tournament. Starting at 8.00pm, you can late reg up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 minutes and you have a 10k starting stack. Refreshments available throughout and sambos served at the break (30 minute break from 9-9.30pm). Wednesday will be Week 1 of the new "Autumn League".

Cash Games Available around 10 o'clock and the tables fill up very quickly. blinds 25/50c, rake is 10% once a flop is seen and capped at €3. Usually fills the 2 tables. The maximum buy-in for cash has now increased to €500! Cash can get a bit wild tonight so beware!!

So Just the one game in Bray tonight. Good Luck at the tables!

Old Forge Wicklow Tuesday Night results

Congratulations to Jim Connors who took down last nights game in the Old forge Wicklow. Jim has been on a good run of late, picking up his 3rd win in 4 weeks. Jim, Dan Bury and Damien Syms agreed to a 3 way chop and played on for the points with damien getting 2nd and Dan 3rd.

Dan cements his place at the top with Jim now pulling away from the chasin pack in 2nd place.

Best hand of the night was a full house with Jacks full of 5s for Damien Syms.

Tuesday Night Poker

2 games tonight folks and 1st up its week 18 of the new Tuesday Night Old Forge Poker League.

Tonight the buy in is €40 (35 plus 5 reg),freezeout, €15k starting stack, with a 1k early bird and 1k bonus chip for texting your entry to 0868446556. Registration is from 7.45, the game starts at 8 sharp. Blinds are 15 mins before and after the break with a 10 minute break after the 1st 6 levels. Hot food also served on the break (Pizza!)

Paddy Clarke won last weeks game and will be going for the 40 points bonus tonight. Dan Bury currently leads the way. Cash game available afterwards, 50c/€1, minimum buy in €5, rake 10% capped at €3 max per pot.

And Finally,

Jacobs well Rathdrum, also have their usual game. Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 8.30 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins.

Pot Limit cash game also runs when enough players are knocked out of the game.
