Peter Porter has been keeping me informed of winners and pictures when he goes here. Wally Johnson and Dave Collard split for €250 each last week. Think the number hit 30/40 here tonight.

Cash tables run until late and usually have 2 going. 25/50c blinds. 3% rake once a flop is seen, capped at €3 per pot, again the 2 cash tables usually fill up fairly fast.

Also a game in Lynskeys of Arklow. Buy in €30 and its a fundraiser. Unlimited €10 rebuys up to the break (possibly 6 levels) and possibly a top up at the break to. Its for a good cause and I believe they are expecting 50 plus for this as over 80/90 tickets have been sold. The game itself is being run by James/Miley from DR Poker.

Have a good weekend and good luck at the tables.

1 Conor Hogan

6 Niall Callary
7 Brian Connolley
8 Niall Higgins
9 Johnny Dunne
10 Mark O Neill(Jiggy)

€120
€40

The final three were Niall Higgins, Larry and Jiggy with Stephan Tierney having been eliminated on the Bubble so Hard Luck Stephen, Niall Higgins was next to go and the two remaining Lads took 180 each and played one hand for the points which Jiggy won so well done lads. The cash game started at 10.45 and went on till late before it became so strange that we had to call a halt to it Ciaran Connolley and Niall Higgins will testify to this! Something to the tune of the straddles reaching the small blind and Big blind being first to act ! Overall it was a very enjoyable night and I would like to talk all the Lads who came down to support it as well as Liam behind the Bar and Trevor for continuing to upload all the happenings on his wicklow poker scene blog.
Good Luck and see you at the tables!

Old Forge Tuesday Night Results

Well Done to Larry "runs like god" Dias, who took down week 9 of the Old Forge Poker League. Larry beat Johnny Dunne heads up, with Paddy Clarke in 3rd. The 3 players agreed a chop of the prizemoney with Larry having the biggest stack. I think Larry wanted the 20 points more than the money!

Anything Larry called he hit, and even when behind he somehow managed to hit to force a chop or win the hand.

Best hand of the night was aces full of 8s, so Damien O'Connor has free entry to next weeks game.

League table will be updated tonight and top 20 posted on the blog and facebook.

Tuesday Night Poker

The first game to report is in the Olde Forge Wicklow Town tonight. Week 9 of the league continues tonight.

Kicking off at 8pm, reg from 7.30pm, €30 freezeout (25 plus 5 reg) Starting stack of 9k, early bird chip of 1000 for anyone in their seat by 8 and an extra 500 if you confirm by text 0868446556.

Best hand of the night gets free entry next week!

Consistently hits the 20 mark, and some new faces every week. Niall O'Connor currently leads the way in the league. Paddy Clarke beat Johnny Dunne heads up last week.

Updated league available tonight also.

Cash Game available afterwards,50c/€1 blinds, rake 5% once a flop is seen capped at €5 per pot.

Finally, the Tuesday game in Jacobs Well, Rathdrum.

Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 8.30 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins.

Pot Limit cash game also runs when enough players are knocked out of the game. I believe they agreed on pot limit as some nights the money on the table would be ridiculous, with players losing what they cant afford!!

Good luck at the table Folks.

The Olde Ship Arklow Results

Congratulations to Craig Ledwith who took down last nights tournament in The Old Ship Arklow. Craig beat a field of 10 players to get the win and more importantly 20 points to move him up in the league.

Craig beat Reimo Reinpalu heads up. Reimo was going for 2 wins in a row and would have got a bonus 20 points, unlucky Reimo.

Best hand of the night was Quad 7s flopped by Niall Higgins. Larry Devereaux was involved in some serious hands. He went all in and was called by 10s, & Kings, He rivered his Ace for a triple up, and then called an all in with 7s to be rivered by a jack to give John a straight, Unlucky Larry.

Pictures below:
