Saturday Night Poker

Star Poker Bray is on tonight and its the same tournament as a Friday Night "the double chance tournament. Be knocked out or go bust before the end of the break and you can rebuy again for €25 (20 plus 5 reg). Starts at 8.00pm and you can register up to 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 mins and a 10k starting stack. Refreshments served throughout and hot food served at the break. probably get 30 plus again tonight, maybe more as its the only game on!

Cash Tables available when enough players are around to start. blinds are 25/50c, 10% rake once a flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. The minimum you can buy onto cash for is €25 and the Maximum has been increased to €500.

Rathnew Friday Night Results

Congrats to Declan Earls who took down last nights game in Doyles Rathnew. 2 tables once again an best hand before the break for the extra 5k in chips went to scott quinn for a poker of aces. Scott also finished 2nd with Damien O'Connor 3rd and Josh Graham 4th.

Friday Night Poker



Action for tonight is as follows:

Doyles Rathnew, starts at 8.00pm. Seems to be getting 2 tables consistently now. €20 buy in and a starting stack of 2.5k and a 20 min clock. You can rebuy/topup 3 times (Think its a 3k starting stack and 4k top ups) and if your gone before the break you can buy a deadstack and the 3 topups for €50. All money taken in on the night goes back out in the prizefund.

The Kennedy inn, Newtown. Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no poker this Friday, 1st March in Mountkennedy Inn.
Game resumes the following Friday,8th March at 8pm.

Star Poker Bray Wednesday Night Results and Final League Table

Congratulations to Ger Cleary who beat a field of 77 players to take down Wednesdays €20 Freeze-Out. Top prize paid €399 and the top 7 were paid.

Thursday Night Poker

1st off, we start in the Coach House Roundwood.
Kicks off at 8.00pm, Buy in is €35 (20 buy in, 10 top up and 5 reg). If you dont take the top-up its €25. The starting stacks are 5k and the top is the same. Blinds are 15/20. Hot food served on the break. Usually always has 2 tables. Friendly Game, new players welcome, Ritchie Cullen runs the game here.

Wednesday Night Poker



Kicking us off is Star Poker Bray and their €20 (15 plus 5 reg)Freezeout tournament. Kicking off at 8.00pm, you can late reg up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 minutes and you have a 10k starting stack. Refreshments available throughout and sambos served at the break (30 minute break from 9-9.30pm). The busiest night in the Poker room nearly always gets 60/70 plus, last week had 70 I believe. Last 2 weeks of the Winter League I think to. Can anyone catch Lorenzo.

Cash Games Available around 10 o'clock and the tables fill up very quickly. blinds 25/50c, rake is 10% once a flop is seen and capped at €3. Usually fills the 2 tables. The maximum buy-in for cash has now increased to €500!

Finally Whistlers game has been cancelled until further Notice.

There was also another game in the 56 in Arklow (beside the carpark) this has also been cancelled as the Pub has closed down!

So Just the one game in Bray tonight is all im aware of.

The Old Forge Tuesday Night Results

Congratulations To Larry Dias who took down last nights game in the Old Forge Wicklow. Larry took down 40 points for his troubles as he won 2 weeks in a row. Jason Cooper was 2nd, Dougie from lithunia 3rd and Johnny Dunne 4th. There was 19 runners and best hand before the break was Aces full of Jacks for Robert Carroll which got him the extra 5k in chips.

Larry was making some good calls but also hitting when he shouldnt have!! Well done Larry.

Larry also cashed for 30 in scalps, with Dougie taking 20 and the rest of the players sharing between them.

Star Poker Sunday Night Results

Congratulations to Dominik Krzysztalowicz who defeated a field of 51 runners to win Sunday's €20 Freeze-out.

On the final hand, Dominic pushed all-in with A9 and was called by J10. The board ran out K8575 to secure Dominik the win.

Top 6 were paid with a top prize of €306.

Tuesday Night Poker



The first game to report is in the Olde Forge Wicklow Town.

Kicking off at 8pm, reg from 7.45pm, €35 scalp freezeout (25 plus 5 reg plus 5 scalp) Starting stack of 9k, early bird chip of 1000 for anyone in their seat by 8 and an extra 500 if you confirm by text 0868446556.

Best hand before the break tonight gets 5k in chips.

Consistently hits the 20 mark, with new faces coming every week. There are over 60 players in the league. Paddy Clarke currently leads the way on the league table. Larry Dias took the 20 Points from last weeks game will be going for 40 this week.

Cash Game available afterwards,50c/€1 blinds, rake 10% once a flop is seen capped at €5 per pot.

Finally, the Tuesday game in Jacobs Well, Rathdrum.

Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 8.30 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins.

Pot Limit cash game also runs when enough players are knocked out of the game.

Old Ship Arklow Monday Night Results

Congratulations to Larry Devereaux who took down last nights game in the Old Ship Arklow. Larry Beat Reimo Reinpalu heads up for the win and the 20 points. Larry and Reimo are both currently occupying 1st and 2nd in the league and have pulled even further ahead with last nights results. Bobby McGee was 3rd. Larry also cashed in for another 25 in scalps, with Reimo having 10.

Best hand before the break was Kings full of 8s for Karl Larkin, which got him the extra 5000 in chips.

Finally it has now been agreed that after the league is over the final table will be played for 3 tickets to the main event at JP Masters. Depending on the Buy in on the Final Night there could be 4 tickets up for Grabs with a cash prize for 5th.

The league was originally going to be for 2 UKIPT seats but a lot of the players have agreed on playing on a little longer and playing for either 2 €900 side event tickets at the Irish Open or 2 tickets to JP Masters main event. The league will now run right up to the week before either event.

East Glendalough Fundraiser Friday Night Results

Congratulations to Graham Richmond who won the fundraiser for East Glendalough School on Friday Night in the Grand Hotel Wicklow. With 34 buy ins, numerous rebuys and top-ups at the break it generated a decent prize pool of €600. Graham took €280 for his troubles. Alan Jordan took 2nd and €170, Alan Noble 3rd for €100 and the last remaining female Breda Nolan €50.

Well done to all who showed up and supported a good cause.

Congratulations to Dean Clarke who won the Friday €25 +1 Re-Entry Tournament. Ian Gannon and Stephen Balfe decided to share second place and give Dean the win, as he had a monster stack. With 48 players top spot paid €384 and the top 5 were paid.
