The Old Forge Wicklow Updated league table

Updated league table for 3 x Fitz EOM tickets are as follows:

Paddy Clarke 265
Niall O'Connor 235
Johnny Dunne 215
Larry Dias 213
Trevor Conyard 186
Jason Cooper 171
Ciaran Connolly 151
Niall Higgins 151
Dan Bury 139
Jason O'Brien 122
Michael Dunne 121
Paddy Kavanagh 109
Craig Flanagan 106
Robert Carroll 88

Again this is a close enough league and with 2 weeks to go, its very tight at the bottom. 1-6 are confirmed (7-8 are literally guaranteed but there is an outside chance they can be caught). Rob Carroll needs to win both weeks to have any chance realistically but Craig, Paddy, Michael and Jason are really battling it out for the last 2 positions and its tight!!

Old Ship Arklow updated League table

Updated league table for the JP Masters main event is as follows:

Larry Deveraux 387
Reimo Reinpalu 358
Karl Larkin 287
Dariusz Denisiuk 256
Bobby McGee 217
Niall O'Connor 199
Trevor Conyard 194
Kyle Byrne 187
Craig Ledwith 169
Zenonas Sudeikis 166
Niall Higgins 163
Liam Power 151

Anyone from Craig (8th) to Liam (12th) can still qualify as its very tight, the other 8 are all safe. Liam needs a win and hope Zenonas, Niall and Craig have a bad week. Craig just needs to better both Niall an Zenonas result and he is guaranteed a final berth!

All still to play for with 1 week to go, best of luck to all! see you all monday.

FEEDBACK REQUIRED PLEASE

Okay folks a little something I was drumming up in my head. We are all used to the same games around the county and I was thinking of running a Wicklow Heads up Poker Championship.

Buy ins to be confirmed, but im looking for 64 players, Timeframe of each game to be decided (as if there are tights players, its ok in a tournament but heads up is a different story). Blinds will be turbo, but a big starting stack to combat this. So if you have all the chips you win or when the clock runs out player with the bigger stack moves on (this is simply to entice action and again not have players fold every hand and wait for aces!!)

Top 4 players will be paid (50%, 30% 10%, 10%) with a trophy and title of heads up poker champion.

This is not a certainty so im looking for feedback to see if players would be interested in something like this. Please feel free to comment, email me as if there is a lot of interest ill be pushing ahead with this.

Thanks as always.
