Ashford Rovers Fundraiser 28th October

Expecting big numbers for this, hopefully will hit the 60 mark. Tables can be sponsored by contacting any of the numbers on the flyers. I have contacted a few of the major poker sites to see will they forward spot prizes (t-shirts, polos, hoodies etc) and hopefully will have something as well. At the break there will also be a charity wax in aid of the football club, so this will be a good night (Plus there is no work the following day)

The Olde Forge Wicklow Tuesday Night Results

Well done to Ciaran Connolly who last nights game in the Old Forge Wicklow. Ciaran beat a field of 16 runners and Niall O'Connor heads up to take the win. The 2 lads decided on a chop and split for €145 each. Niall O'Connor still leads the way in the league with 12 weeks gone, but still loads of time to make the top 10. Mick Dunne finished 3rd and has only playd twice yet is still only 2/3 places off a top 10 place.

Best hand before the break was Kings full of 9s, and gave Paddy Kavanagh the extra 5K in chips.

There was some interesting hands 2 or 3 times last night. On one table 6s, 7s & 8s were dealt and checked all the way to the river. The biggest hand was Aces, Kings, Jacks and 10s (Mayhem). Niall O'Connors Aces held over the Kings as the 10s and Jacks folded pre-flop.

Small cash game got going later on, nothing wild. Thanks to all who came and hopefully see you next week.
