Ashford Rovers Fundraiser

DONT FORGET TOMORROW NIGHT, BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY NIGHT

Expecting big numbers for this, (hopefully) will hit the 60 mark. Tables can be sponsored by contacting any of the numbers on the flyers. I had contacted a few of the major poker sites to see would they forward spot prizes (t-shirts, polos, hoodies etc) so Ive some small bits from Irish Eyes Poker. A lot of the bigger sites didnt want to know, which was a bit disappointing. At the break there will also be a charity wax in aid of the football club, so this will be a good night (Plus there is no work the following day)!

Buy in €20, with unlimited €10 rebuys up to the break. 20 Min levels for 6 levels to the break, starting stack is 3k, rebuys 3k and top up at the break is €10 for 3k or €30 for 10k.

CASH GAME WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER WHEN ENOUGH PLAYERS HAVE BEEN KNOCKED OUT.

Saturday Night Poker

Star Poker Bray is on tonight and its the same tournament as a Friday Night "the double chance tournament. Be knocked out or go bust before the end of the break and you can rebuy again for €25 (20 plus 5 reg). Starts at 8.00pm and you can register up to 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 mins and a 10k starting stack. Refreshments served throughout and hot food served at the break. Numbers getting bigger on the weekends in Star, as a matter of fact I dont think they drop below 30 for any tournament!

Cash Tables available when enough players are around to start. blinds are 25/50c, 10% rake once a flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. I think the minimum you can buy onto cash for is €25 and the Maximum is €200

StarPoker Bray Thursday Night Results

Congratulations to Keith Clucas who won the Thursday €30 scalp tournament. With 34 runners top spot paid €306 and the top 4 got paid. Keith called an all in pre flop with KJ and was against A9. Keith flopped top pair an held to give him the win. No jackpot winner so it rolls over to next week.

Whistlers Wednesday Night Report & Updated League Table

Last night in Whistlers we had 10 players down for the game and made up a prizepool of 335 less 20 for the league also whistlers add 50 euro to the League every week.
The top 3 this week were Brian Connolley(surprise surprise) Stephen Tierney and John Leon. John Leon was eliminated in third for €40 and the two lads chopped it taking €137.50 each. The ensuing cash game was a lively affair and with average stack over €100 it was playing more like a 2/5 rather than 25c/50c it went on late and thanks again to Whistlers for accomodating us and adding to the league!

There will be no game next week for Halloween

Friday Night Poker

Action for tonight is as follows:

Doyles Rathnew, starts at 8.00pm. Seems to be getting 2 tables consistently now. €20 buy in and a starting stack of 2.5k and a 20 min clock. You can rebuy/topup 3 times and if your gone before the break you can buy a deadstack and the 3 topups for €50. All money taken in on the night goes back out in the prizefund. Peter Porter has been keeping me informed of winners and pictures when he goes here. This is the 5/6th week of the Christmas roll over with €200 off the prizepool being held back. Play 7 out of the 12 weeks to qualify for the final night and your chance to win €1000 (i think the winner alone will win the €1000!), right before christmas.

The Kennedy inn, Newtown. Starts at 8.00pm, buy in is €20, with a €20 top up. early bird chip of 1k if your there before 8. Starting stack of 10k and a 20 min clock. The topup/rebuy is also for 10k. Usually gets 2 tables and the standard of play is very high, early bird chip of 1k if your there before 8.

Star Poker Bray, have their €25 (20 plus 5 reg) double chance tournie. Bust or be knocked out before the end of the first break at 9.30pm and you can rebuy for a further €25. Starts at 8.00pm and you can late reg up to 9.30pm. Starting stack of 10k, 15 min blinds and usually 30 plus runners. Refreshments available throughout and hot food served at the break. Think the number hit 30/40 here tonight.

Cash tables run until late and usually have 2 going. 25/50c blinds. 10% rake once a flop is seen, capped at €3 per pot, again the 2 cash tables usually fill up fairly fast.

Also a game in Lynskeys of Arklow. this game is no more as far as i know, they were not getting the numbers and no texts have gone out in a while.

Have a good weekend and good luck at the tables.
