Doyles Rathnew Friday Night Report

Small report from Doyles last night, thanks to Peter.

Small turnout, the top hand before the break was a house opf aces, which earned Frank an extra 5k chip at the break! Final 3 were Damien O'Connor, Scott Quinn & Harry Murphy. Scott and Damien Chopped pot. Well done lads

Newtown Friday Night Results

Well done to Mark Taylor and Dave who split pot last night for €240 each. Clifton Conyard took 3rd for €100, Johnny Dunne 4th for €80 and Beaudine Brown 5th for €20.

Dave knocked Johnny Dunne out with his 88 v 55. Clifton left Beaudine on life support after going all in pre flop with ace 3 vs 88 and flopping a set. Beaudine pushed blind next hand and woke up with Ace Queen and was called by Johnny & Dave. A queen, 5, 7 flop and Dave bet, Johnny folded. Beaudine miles ahead against his Queen 3, only for dave to spike the 3 to finish bo off!!

Frank called an all in with K 9 and came up against Q 10. The flop came 998 giving Frank a huge lead, even with the scare of a straight draw. An ace on the turn and a 5 on the river meant that Frank's trips were good and he took first place [:)] Well done Frank...
