Star Poker Bray Thursday Night Results

Congratulations to Kurt Suarez who beat a field of 29 players to win Thursdays €35 Scalp Tournament. Top prize paid €290 and the top 3 were paid. Kurt also cashed in for €80 in Scalps. Well done!

Friday Night Poker

Action for tonight as follows:

Doyles Rathnew, starts at 8.00pm. Seems to usually get 2 tables. €20 buy in and a starting stack of 2.5k and a 20 min clock. You can rebuy/topup 3 times and if your gone before the break you can buy a deadstack and the 3 topups for €50. All money taken in on the night goes back out in the prizefund. Also tonight Doyles is the 2nd Week of their christmas rollover, You must play 7nights of the 13 nights to qualify for final. This year they are giving a bonus of 1,000 chips for each night in the run up to christmas you play. ie if you play 8=1000,9=2000,and so on,bonus will be given with starting stack on final night.

The Kennedy inn, Newtown. There is no game here tonight as there is a table quiz in the pub. The game returns next week.

Star Poker Bray, have their €25 (20 plus 5 reg) double chance tournie. Bust or be knocked out before the end of the first break at 9.30pm and you can rebuy for a further €25. Starts at 8.00pm and you can late reg up to 9.30pm. Starting stack of 10k, 15 min blinds and usually 30/40 plus runners. Refreshments available throughout and hot food served at the break.

Cash tables run until late and usually have 2 going. 25/50c blinds. 10% rake once a flop is seen, capped at €3 per pot, again the 2 cash tables usually fill up fairly fast.

Whistlers Thursday Night Results

Congratulations to Paddy Clarke who took down last nights game in Whistlers Wicklow. Paddy took €220 for his troubles. Tom Cox was 2nd for €130, Niall Callery 3rd for €70 and Larry Dias 4th for €40. Best hand before the Break was a house of 7s for Tom Cox and he won €20 for this.

Thursday Night Poker

1st off, we start in the Coach House Roundwood.
Kicks off at 8.00pm, Buy in is €35 (20 buy in, 10 top up and 5 reg). If you dont take the top-up its €25. The starting stacks are 5k and the top is the same. Blinds are 15/20. Hot food served on the break. Always has 2 tables. Friendly Game, new players welcome, Ritchie Cullen runs the game here.

Star Poker Bray, have reverted to their usual game, the €35 (20 plus 5 reg & 10 scalp) scalp tournament. Starting at 8pm, you can late reg up the to the end of the break at 9.30pm. 10k starting stack, 15min blinds. Food served at the break, refreshments served throughout. The winner here usually ends up with nearly a €100 extra in scalps!

Cash table available usually after 10 and fill up quickly. 25/50c blinds, 10% rake once the flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. tables usually fill up fairly fast.

Lynskeys Arklow, now have a game, Buy in is €35 (30 plus €5 reg) starting at 9pm. 15 min blinds, 15k starting stack. €5 reg gives you a free pint and pizza at the break. Seems to always get 2 tables (according to one of the local players)

Finally Whistlers Wicklow Town Starting at 8pm, all money taken in paid out on the night. €20 buy in with 2 €10 top ups/rebuys. 500 early bird chip if your in your seat by the start and 500 if you confirm by text. Best hand before the break also gets €20.

Congratulations to Keith Clucas and Donal McDonald for chopping Sundays €20 freeze-out tournament. They beat a field of 33 runners and chopped a first place of €248. Top 3 got paid.

Only the 1 game tonight and its Star Poker Bray and their €20 (15 plus 5 reg)Freezeout tournament. Starting at 8.00pm, you can late reg up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 minutes and you have a 10k starting stack. Refreshments available throughout and sambos served at the break (30 minute break from 9-9.30pm). Tonight will be Week 4 of the new "Autumn League".

Old Forge Tuesday Night Results

Congratulations to Paulius Gavenas who took down last nights game in the Old Forge Wicklow. Paulius and Damien Syms agreed to a chop of 1st & 2nd and played one hand headsup to determine the winner. Paddy Clarke was 3rd with Dan Bury finishing 4th.

Best hand of the night was Aces full of 8s for Paulius.

Tuesday Night Poker

2 games tonight folks and 1st up its week 19 of the new Tuesday Night Old Forge Poker League.

Tonight the buy in is €40 (35 plus 5 reg),freezeout, €15k starting stack, with a 1k early bird and 1k bonus chip for texting your entry to 0868446556. Registration is from 7.45, the game starts at 8 sharp. Blinds are 15 mins before and after the break with a 10 minute break after the 1st 6 levels. Hot food also served on the break (Pizza!)

Dan Bury won last weeks game and will be going for the 40 points bonus tonight. Dan Bury currently leads the way in the league and will be hard caught. Cash game available afterwards, 50c/€1, minimum buy in €5, rake 10% capped at €3 max per pot.

And Finally,

Jacobs well Rathdrum, also have their usual game. Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 8.30 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins.

Pot Limit cash game also runs when enough players are knocked out of the game.
