Saturday Night Poker

Star Poker Bray is on tonight and its the same tournament as a Friday Night "the double chance tournament. Be knocked out or go bust before the end of the break and you can rebuy again for €25 (20 plus 5 reg). Starts at 8.00pm and you can register up to 9.30pm. Blinds are 15 mins and a 10k starting stack. Refreshments served throughout and hot food served at the break. probably get 30 plus again as its the only game on around Wicklow.

Cash Tables available when enough players are around to start. blinds are 25/50c, 10% rake once a flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. The minimum you can buy onto cash for is €25 and the Maximum has been increased to €500.

Newtown Friday Night Results

Sixteen players took part in the Friday night game in MKI, yielding a prize fund of €520. Cliff Conyard and Geraldine Nolan chopped the top 2 prizes and got €200 each. Third was David Brewster on €80 and fourth was Dominic Leech on €40. Best hand of the night was Bette Lawless's quad Kings, so Bette gets a free buy in next week.

Friday Night Poker

Action for tonight as follows:

Doyles Rathnew, starts at 8.00pm. Seems to usually get 2 tables. €20 buy in and a starting stack of 2.5k and a 20 min clock. You can rebuy/topup 3 times and if your gone before the break you can buy a deadstack and the 3 topups for €50. All money taken in on the night goes back out in the prizefund. Also tonight is week 3 of the christmas rollover, You must play 7/13 nights to qualify for the final. This year they are giving a bonus of 1,000 chips for each night in the run up to christmas you play. ie if you play 8=1000,9=2000,and so on,bonus will be given with the starting stack on the final night.

The Kennedy inn, Newtown. Starts at 8.00pm, buy in is €20, with a €20 top up. early bird chip of 2k if your there before 8. Starting stack of 10k and a 20 min clock. The topup/rebuy is also for 10k. Consistently getting 2 tables now. Best hand of the night also gets free entry for the following week. Seems to consistently have 2 tables here.

Congratulations to Jacob Bobro and Daryl Pluck who both split the €35 Scalp Freeze-out tournament last night. With 40 runners top place paid €360 and the top 4 were paid. The lads also shared an extra €110 in Scalps between them

Whistlers Thursday Night Results

Congratulations to Ciaran Connolly who won last nights game in Whistlers Wicklow. Ciaran agreed to a chop of the prizepool but took €250 for his troubles as he had the most chips. Stephen Tierney and Brian Connolly took €170 each and George Clark €40 for 4th.

Best hand before the break was John Leon's house of aces and he got €20 for this.

Thursday Night Poker

1st off, we start in the Coach House Roundwood.
Kicks off at 8.00pm, Buy in is €35 (20 buy in, 10 top up and 5 reg). If you dont take the top-up its €25. The starting stacks are 5k and the top is the same. Blinds are 15/20. Hot food served on the break. Always has 2 tables. Friendly Game, new players welcome, Ritchie Cullen runs the game here.

Star Poker Bray, have reverted to their usual game, the €35 (20 plus 5 reg & 10 scalp) scalp tournament. Starting at 8pm, you can late reg up the to the end of the break at 9.30pm. 10k starting stack, 15min blinds. Food served at the break, refreshments served throughout. The winner here usually ends up with nearly a €100 extra in scalps!

Cash table available usually after 10 and fill up quickly. 25/50c blinds, 10% rake once the flop is seen and capped at €3 per pot. tables usually fill up fairly fast.

Lynskeys Arklow, now have a game, Buy in is €35 (30 plus €5 reg) starting at 9pm. 15 min blinds, 15k starting stack. €5 reg gives you a free pint and pizza at the break. Seems to always get 2 tables (according to one of the local players)

Finally Whistlers Wicklow Town Starting at 8pm, all money taken in paid out on the night. €20 buy in with 2 €10 top ups/rebuys. 500 early bird chip if your in your seat by the start and 500 if you confirm by text. Best hand before the break also gets €20.

Only the 1 game tonight and its Star Poker Bray and their €20 (15 plus 5 reg)Freezeout tournament. Starting at 8.00pm, you can late reg up to the end of the break at 9.30pm. Tuesday Night Poker

2 games tonight folks and 1st up its the weekly game in the old forge.

Tonight the buy in is €40 (35 plus 5 reg),freezeout, €15k starting stack, with a 1k early bird and 1k bonus chip for texting your entry to 0868446556. Registration is from 7.45, the game starts at 8 sharp. Blinds are 15 mins before and after the break with a 10 minute break after the 1st 6 levels. Hot food also served on the break (Pizza!)

The league finished last week and the top 3 prizes went to Dan Bury, Jim Connors and Paddy Clarke. Thje 3 lads have to decide on what tournament (Super sunday in Bray, IPO or the 888 deepstack). so well done lads.

Cash game available afterwards, 50c/€1, minimum buy in €5, rake 10% capped at €3 max per pot.

And Finally,

Jacobs well Rathdrum, also have their usual game. Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k (you are reading this correctly), blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 9.00 and can run for a while with a stack this big!!

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins.

Pot Limit cash game also runs when enough players are knocked out of the game.
