The reports I post is what I get. Howver in respect of games I have played in and comment, i.e. the Newtown Game, people have commented they think their game is better with better players etc! Maybe I should try get a team game going and we'l see from there.

Friday Night Poker

Doyles Rathnew, starts at 8.00pm. Usually gets around 2 tables. €20 buy in and a starting stack of 2.5k and a 20 min clock. You can rebuy/topup 3 times and if your gone before the break you can buy a deadstack and the 3 topups for €50. All money taken in on the night goes back out in the prizefund. This has recently been said to me at a tournament by 1 or 2 players who agree, others dont.

Cash tables run until late and usually have 2 going. 25/50c blinds. 3% rake once a flop is seen, capped at €3 per pot, again the 2 cash tables usually fill up fairly fast.

Also a game in Lynskeys of Arklow. Buy in €35 (30 plus 5 freezeout). run by the same guys that run the sally game on a wednesday DR Poker, Im not sure of the blinds/starting stack or number here. Starts at 8pm sharp and you can reg from 7.30pm. Early bird chip for players in their seats before the game starts and 500 bonus for players who confirm their entry by text. Olde Forge Tuesday Night Report

Small report from last nights action in the Old Forge Wicklow. There was 17 runners. There were some big hands early on when John leons trip 8s were cracked by Trips Aces. Johnny Dunne also survived an early all in with ace king of diamonds against Niall O'Connors Kings. Johnny spiked a diamond on the Turn, to give him the pot and a Royal Flush Draw, which in the end never came.

Damien O'Connor called a preflop raise by Trevor Conyard who had Kings, and flopped a set of queens. Damien had Queen Jack off. Paddy Clarke made a move when in the Blinds before the break and pushed all in with 7,4 clubs. Trevor called with Ace, 6 and paddy duly hit his flush on the river.

The final 9 was very slow but once 1 went action got faster. Jason Cooper raised to 5k with K,Q, Larry Dias pushed for an extra 4k with Jack, 10 Diamonds and John Leon pushed for nearly 50k. With so much in the pot Jason had no choice but call and was dominated when Johns Aces held up. This gave John a commanding chip lead. Niall O'Connor was next to go, followed by Fran Higgins who was blinded out. Brian Connolly was the bubble boy but unlucky to be so, as Johnny dunne was all in for 7k and Trevor and John called as the blinds were 3/6k. Trevor flopped a set of 6s, and johhny hit runner runner straight.

Johnny finally went out in 4th when he pushed all in with Ace 7, Trevor went over the top and Pushed all in for about 30k with Ace Jack, John Leon pondered and finally called with Ace King. Trevor Spiked a Jack on the river to take the pot and become chip leader. Play was 3 handed for a while and the 3 players decided to chop 3 ways. Well Done Trevor, Scott and John.

The busiest night in the Poker room usually always 60 plus players.
