Saturday Poker

a couple of games on today:

First up its day 2B of the IPO Bray in Star Poker Bray. Kicking off at 2pm, buy in is $250 and you must have a full tilt poker account to play. starting stack of 25,000 and a 30 minute clock. Day 1A attracted 89 players so today should be a lot busier.

Also at 8pm there will be a €110 bounty turbo. starting stack of 15,000, 15 minute blinds and is capped at 50 players.

Finally there is a Charity Poker Night on in Jacob's Well in Rathdrum. This event will be fundraising for a Childhood Development Center in Nepal, and will take place at 8:30pm. There are great cash prizes to be won as well as a raffle and refreshments are provided!

Tickets are €30, plus the option of 2 buy-ins @ €10 each, and one top up of €10. Tickets are available to buy on the night, or in advance by contacting me.

An event similar to this was held in Jacobs last year, and it was a huge success with lots of people getting involved. If your around tonight drop along to a worthy fundraiser.

Friday Poker

Friday is here and one of the biggest weekends in poker (especially for wicklow) has arrived:

Doyles Rathnew, starts at 8.00pm. Always get 2 tables. Starting at 8.30pm sharp €20 buy in with unlimited rebuys up to the break with a top up available at the break.

The Kennedy inn, Newtown. Starts at 8.00pm, buy in is €20, with a €20 top up. early bird chip of 2k if your there before 8. Starting stack of 10k and a 20 min clock. The topup/rebuy is also for 10k. Consistently getting 2 tables now. Best hand of the night also gets free entry for the following week.

Star Poker Bray, are running the FULL TILT IPO. The main event day 1a kicks off at 4pm. $250 entry and you must have a full tilt online account. starting stack is 25,000 and there are 30 min blinds. Star Poker have a purpose built room for this event and its looks fantastic, so fair play to all the Star Bray crew and Stephen McClean for running such a big event. Its great to see.

Also as part of the IPO, Tonight at 10pm there will be a €60 turbo game. 10,000 starting stack and 15 min blinds.

Cash tables im sure will be running almost immediately. Expecting big crowds for this event so good luck at the tables.

Thursday Poker

3 games on tonight and only more day to the IPO!!

1st off, we start with the game in Roundwood.

Kicks off at 8.00pm, Buy in is €35 (20 buy in, 10 top up and 5 reg). If you dont take the top-up its €25. The starting stacks are 5k and the top is the same. Always has 2 tables. Friendly Game, new players welcome. This takes place in Fannings Pub.

Star Poker Bray

Tonight in Star poker they are running a €20 rebuy satellite game to the IPO festival (TONIGHT IS THE LAST NIGHT TO SATELLITE INTO THE IPO). buy in is €15 plus €5 reg. Starting at 8, you can late reg to 10pm. Starting stack of 3000 chips, 15 min clock. The rebuys are €10 for 3000 chips and a €10 top up at the break will get you 6000 chips.

For every €230 one ticket will be guaranteed for the IPO Bray main event. Last week 5 tickets were given out, so I would imagaine tonight will be very busy with the tournament starting tomorrow.

Refreshments available during the tournament, Complimentary food served at the break.

Finally Whistlers Wicklow Town

Starting at 8pm, all money taken in paid out on the night. €20 buy in with 2 €10 top ups/rebuys. starting stack 6k, blinds 15 minutes. Rebuys €10 for 6k or if you get to the break without taking a rebuy you can get 13k for €20. 1000 early bird chip if your in your seat for the 1st hand and 500 if you confirm by text by 7pm. Best hand before the break also gets €20 (providing there is more than 8 players)

For 8 weeks Star Leisure Poker Room will run a Wednesday Tournament League from 6th of May up to 24th of June 2015. Over These 8 nights players will receive points according to what position they finish in. The 5 players with the most points will receive a cash prize on Wednesday 1st July 2015.

The league prize pool will be created by taking €1 from each player’s entry fee every tournament and Star Leisure Poker Room will donate another €1 per person each tournament to double the prize pool. Star Leisure Poker Room will guarantee a prize fund of €750.

Tuesday Poker

There is only the one live game on tonight:

Jacobs well Rathdrum have their usual game. Each week they alternate between 2 games. 1 game is a €50 freezeout. starting stack is 62k, blinds are 15/20 mins. no money kept behind all is paid out in prizefunds. starts at 9.00 and can run for a while with a stack this big!! This game seems to be getting double figures of late.

Their 2nd game is €30, with a €10 rebuy only for the first 3 levels. starting stack is not as big, i believe its around the 20k mark, and blinds are as above 15/20 mins. Top up also allowed at the break.

Monday Poker
